& Other Stories last night celebrated the opening of its new store in Madrid, the first in the capital, located in the neighborhood of Salamanca, specifically in the calle Hermosilla 15. A space by many known because it was the Theatre/restaurant Teatriz, that has become a spectacular two-storey and one planned for collections boutique special collaborations.
The store will open its doors tomorrow day 5, and I say at this point that you have a must-see.
Many lovers of fashion, press, bloggers and famous faces joined the firm in this opening. Everyone enjoyed the diversity of the collections of fashion and beauty autumn/winter 2014, spread over 900 square meters having the shop.
The building was built in the 1920s as a theater Infanta Beatriz, was then restaurant, and has now been restored by the firm keeping intact much of its original structure. It is full of details that reveal his past, like his beautiful Dome, a scenario with a ceiling of 20 meters high where to find creams and soaps, ancient scenic elements, the backdrop, spotlights and details that combine perfectly with the large selection of accessories, accessories, beauty products, and the different collections.
The iconic mirror and details of marble that Philippe Starck located upstairs in the era of the 90s, become a perfect backdrop for the section of beauty where you can find everything. From creams to soaps.
Samuel Fernstrom, Head of & Other Stories, which was yesterday at the party told us that:
It’s great to open a store in the heart of Madrid. It really is a unique location that blends our world with its rich history as theater, resulting in a modern store with vintage spirit. We are eager to know our Spanish customers and discover their personal interpretation of our collections”
Ideal among the works of art that is in one of the created by Nuria Mora. It is an abstract work made with paper bags of & Other Stories, playing with the white and grey which are the colors that decorate the signature shops. I can not forget the catering, of Samantha Vallejo Nagera. But what I liked the most was where drinks were served: in small bottles with posters with messages. A monad! By the way, pique and I could not resist to buy a short jumper with black beads detail.
