Ask Manolo: Business Attire?

Hey! I have a question regarding the dress code “business attire”. Have not quite understood me at it and wonder if I’m right out there? We are two guys who are going on a gala and receive a prize in Brussels. We thought a little synchronized through accesories and thought driving on the gray suits with matching ties or possibly flies. What is the dress code anyway? And how far can you go to “screw” to it? It is certainly difficult to interpret the concept of business attire. The guides about different dress codes for office attire are often as many as sprawling. Generally seen business attire as a semi-formal attire, stylistically in the most formal interpretation of dark suit, white shirt, tie and black shoes, while above what what is often described as business casual.

The foundation is a uniform costume in black, gray, blue or possibly a dark shade of brown. Odd Blazer with dressed-up pants (not chinos or jeans) is seen as a viable alternative. Also, the suit have a discrete pattern of pinstripes is clearly preferable to the checkered. For this, we recommend a long-sleeved light shirt, for example, light blue, purple or pink. Although there are subtle patterns to be preferred above all influential. For shoes recommended lace-up shoes in dark brown or black. Stylish loafers with heels can be an attractive option.

As for the tie so it is that is always important to choose a model of darker color than the shirt to the tie should not take over the upholstery completely.
