Belstaff Launches Autumn Winter 2012 Campaign with Ewan McGregor

The Belstaff is just another one of those brands traditional that knew how to reinvent themselves after going through a period of bad and is now back with everything, eliciting the applause of the enthusiasts of fashion in the entire world, especially after the disclosure of the above image, which features pieces from the collection autumn/winter 2012 with the actor Ewan McGregor (photo featured) as the star.

The brand began its activities in the year 1924 in Staffordshire, England, on the initiative of Eli Belovitch and his son in law Harry Grosberg, producing jackets resistant for bikers, distinguishing himself for being a pioneer in the use of waxed cotton. Shortly after expanded its range of products by manufacturing eyewear for aviation, gloves and other clothing for protection against the weather.

In the 80’s started production of clothing for golf, which was not enough to prevent the crisis that would come at the beginning of the 90’s, only coming back to grow in 1994 with the introduction of the Belfresh, a waterproof fabric but that does not keeps the body cushioned, allowing it to breathe.

In 2011 the German group Labelux acquired the brand along with the american entrepreneur Harry Dutoit who assumed the position of president, naming Martin Cooper as creative director and no one less than Tommy Hilfiger as a consultant, becoming, in a short time, Belstaff in what we see today, with 14 of its own stores and over 1,000 points of sale in the world.
